Waterhouse Mitts
This is a test knit for pmcblonde - Ravelry.
YARN: Keamor (Pingouin) - beige and white NEEDLE: US 2 - 2.75 mm (circular)
I'm having the chance to use my lovely tiny winny HiyaHiya bamboo circular needle for the first time! It's a US #2 / 2.75 mm needle, just 9" / 23 cm long.
I love your chevron pattern! I knit and quilt this style a lot using my regular mitten pattern passed down from my Grandmother to my Mother to her daughters. I modified it to start decreasing the stiches same as you would for finishing a full mitten. This allows the shaping to gently close in a bit to hug the fingers before casting off. I'm a trucker and I love wearing this style starting out on those cool mornings, I retain my dexterity to adjust dials and controls.
